Zero-Divisor Graphs of $2 \times 2$ Upper Triangular Matrix Rings Over $Z_n$ [PDF]

open access: yesMissouri Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2014
Istvan Beck introduced the zero-divisor graph in 1988. We explore the directed and undirected zero-divisor graphs of the rings of $2 \times 2$ upper triangular matrices mod $n$, denoted by $\Gamma(T_2(n))$ and $\tilde{\Gamma}(T_2(n))$, respectively. For prime $p$, we completely characterize the graph $\Gamma(T_2(p))$ by partitioning $T_2(p)$, and prove

Semicommutative and Armendariz Matrix Rings

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, we construct some interesting high-order upper triangular matrix rings, which have semicommutative and Armendariz properties. Also, the relatively maximality of these rings as subrings of certain matrix rings is considered.

Derived equivalences of upper-triangular ring spectra via lax limits

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
We extend a theorem of Ladkani concerning derived equivalences between upper-triangular matrix rings to ring spectra. Our result also extends an analogous theorem of Maycock for differential graded algebras.

Semi-Armendariz and Semi-McCoy rings

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2021
We introduce the notion of Semi-Armendariz (resp. Semi-McCoy) rings, which are a subclass of J-Armendariz (resp. J-McCoy rings) and investigate their properties. A ring R is called Semi-Armendariz (Semi-McCoy) if  is Armendariz (McCoy).

Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.

Compatibility of Methacrylate Based Resins Controls Interfacial Failure and Toughness in 3D‐Printed Multimaterial Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work shows that the mechanical performance of multimaterial digital light processing (DLP) printed thermoset composites is governed by resin compatibility and interfacial design rather than spatial patterning alone. Brittle and ductile resin combinations produced premature interfacial failure, while graded interfaces and mechanically compatible ...

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

A Unified Approach to Generalizing π-Extending and π-Baer Rings

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
This paper introduces and examines the right essentially π-Baer ring property, which serves as a new extension of the π-extending and π-Baer ring conditions. The initial phase of the study involves the development of several foundational results.

In Situ Crystalline‐Amorphous Composite Oxide Structure Suppressing Thermal Wear Instability for Refractory Multi‐Principal Element Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An effective strategy is developed to overcome the medium temperatures wear resistance degradation in refractory multi‐principal element alloys. By utilizing chemical short‐range ordering to trigger oxygen‐induced amorphization, a composite oxide structure is formed, which combines high hardness with robust stiffness.
