[Continent urinary diversion in neurogenic bladders].
Annales d'urologie, 1996Many patients with urinary incontinence due to neurogenic sphincter insufficiency are treated by intermittent catheterization combined with drug therapy. A few refractory cases require surgical treatment. The authors report 5 cases of neurogenic bladder in 3 men and 2 women with a mean age of 20 years.

Archives of Surgery, 1935In clinical urology Rose and his co-workers 1 made studies of the urinary bladder by means of the cystometer, an instrument which records synchronously the intracystic capacity and pressure. The results seemed to indicate that valuable diagnostic criteria with respect to neurogenic lesions of the bladder could be obtained in this manner.
