Sugar Functionalized Collagen Material for Local Modulation of Innate Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Modulation of the innate immune response at the implant site can significantly influence adaptive immunity. A mannose‐functionalized collagen patch, termed the Local Immunotuning Patch (LIP), has been designed to engage mannose receptors on antigen‐presenting cells while exhibiting antibacterial properties. LIP orchestrates complex immune pathways that

Ultrasound‐Induced Nitric Oxide‐Propelled Nanomotor for Multimodal Theranostics of Cancer with Deep Penetration and Extended Lifetime

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A hollow nanomotor (PM‐HMSN/Arg) propelled by ultrasound‐triggered nitric oxide (NO) was developed. The nanomotor employs a “tethering‐relaxing‐drilling” mechanism to overcome biological barriers, enabling multimodal theranostics of cancer with deep penetration and extended lifetime.

The Role of Ultrasound in Initial Evaluation of Renal Colic

open access: yesSaudi Journal of Kidney Diseases and Transplantation, 2000
The objective of this study is to evaluate the use of ultrasound in the initial evaluation of renal colic. We studied prospectively 21 patients referred for radiographic evaluation for renal colic from January 1998 through April 1998.

LEDGF Binds H3R17me2a Promoting De Novo Nucleotide Biosynthesis in SETD2 Mutant Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In SETD2‐mutant ccRCC, the original LEDGF recognition of the H3K36me3 regulatory axis no longer exists. LEDGF interacts with CARM1‐dependent H3R17me2a regulating the transcription of key enzymes in the de novo synthesis pathway. The abnormally elevated LEDGF leads to the accumulation of purine nucleotides in SETD2‐mutant ccRCC, thereby satisfying the ...

A Mitochondria‐Targeted Nanozyme Platform for Multi‐Pathway Tumor Therapy via Ferroptosis and Cuproptosis Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reports a mitochondria‐targeted nanozyme platform, MIL‐Cu1.8S‐TPP/FA, which induces potent cuproptosis via localized delivery of Cu1.8S nanodots to mitochondria. Surface‐anchoring these nanodots onto MIL‐88B metal‐organic frameworks enhances both passive and active tumor targeting.

Landscape of peripheral immunity in patients with upper urinary tract urolithiasis and the underlying correlations with renal function

open access: yesBMC Urology
Introduction Inflammatory and immunological responses are reported involved in the pathogenesis and progression of obstructive nephropathy (ON). This study was designed to investigate the characteristics of peripheral immunity in patients with upper ...

Nucleotides as an Anti‐Aging Supplementation in Older Adults: A Randomized Controlled Trial (TALENTs study)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The TALENTs randomized controlled trial evaluates the potential of nucleotides supplementation as an anti‐aging intervention in older adults. After 19 weeks, nucleotides supplementation significantly reduces DNA methylation age, suggesting a delay in epigenetic aging, and improves insulin sensitivity without severe adverse events.

Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomic Profiling of Penile Squamous Cell Carcinoma Reveals Dynamics of Tumor Differentiation and Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uses single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics to investigate penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC). It reveals that PSCC tumor cells mimic normal penile epithelium differentiation, independent of HPV status. The Tum_1 subtype shows basal stem‐like characteristics and promotes invasiveness. HPV‐positive basal stem‐like tumors
