Urinary Extracellular Vesicles for High‐Precision Bladder Cancer Subtyping and Prognosis

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Biology, Volume 5, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Bladder cancer (BCa) exhibits molecular heterogeneity that complicates early diagnosis and prognosis, and drives confounding clinical outcomes. Non‐muscle invasive and muscle‐invasive subtypes, especially for intermediate to high grade, carry a 25%–50% progression‐free survival rate, underscoring the need for high‐precision prognostic strategy.

Identification of a Novel De Novo Heterozygous SEC61A1 Variant in a Patient With Severe Congenital Neutropenia

open access: yesMolecular Genetics &Genomic Medicine, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2026.
Severe congenital neutropenia can be caused by rare SEC61A1 variants. We report a child with SCN showing granulocytic maturation arrest and abnormal immunophenotype, carrying a novel de novo SEC61A1 p.Trp379Arg variant, expanding the phenotypic and genetic spectrum of SEC61A1‐associated SCN.

Primary Hepatoid Adenocarcinoma of the Lung With Signet Ring Cell Differentiation and Widespread Osseous Metastases: A Case Report

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2026.
We present a case of hepatoid adenocarcinoma in the lung which was initially misdiagnosed as pneumonia and rapidly progressed to widespread metastatic disease. This case emphasises the diagnostic difficulty, radiological and histopathologic characteristics, and aggressive clinical behaviour of this rare tumour and underscores the need for early ...

Adrenocortical Adenocarcinoma in a Syrian Golden Hamster (Mesocricetus auratus) With Suspected Hyperadrenocorticism

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.
A 2‐year‐old female golden hamster presented with non‐pruritic alopecia of the hindquarters. Diagnostic imaging and cytological evaluation revealed a unilateral adrenal mass consistent with an adrenocortical tumour, while biochemical analyses suggested corticosteroid secretion.
