ABSTRACT Background The tight junction protein CLDN6 has been identified as a cancer‐associated cell surface marker that is rarely expressed in healthy tissues. In testicular germ cell tumors (GCT), CLDN6 is particularly detectable in seminomas, embryonal carcinomas, and choriocarcinomas.

Androgen Receptor Expression in Urothelial Bladder Cancer—A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis
ABSTRACT Background Bladder cancer is a globally prevalent malignancy with a marked male predominance. Over the past decade, the androgen receptor has been investigated as a potential contributor to bladder cancer pathophysiology. Androgen receptor expression is most commonly assessed via immunohistochemistry, but its association with pathological ...

A case of canine urothelial carcinoma of the urinary bladder with skull and skeletal metastases
Canine urinary bladder neoplasia is uncommon, representing less than 1% of canine neoplasms. Amongst cases of urinary bladder neoplasia in dogs, primary urothelial carcinoma is the most frequent. Urothelial carcinomas are malignant invasive tumours which tend to be slow growing and metastasise late.

Objective To further evaluate a genomic classifier (GC) in a cohort of patients undergoing radical cystectomy (RC), as long non‐coding RNA (lncRNA)‐based genomic profiling has suggested utility in identifying a distinct tumour subgroup corresponding to a favourable prognosis in patients with bladder cancer.

Objectives To evaluate whether a simplified risk model preserves the prognostic performance of the International Bladder Cancer Group (IBCG) five‐factor risk stratification model in intermediate‐risk (IR) non‐muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Patients and Methods We performed a multicentre retrospective analysis of 2822 patients with IR NMIBC ...

Objectives To evaluate whether longitudinal tumour‐informed circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) testing identifies patients at increased risk of upstaging and recurrence in high‐risk non‐muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Patients and Methods A cohort of 52 patients with high‐risk NMIBC underwent serial plasma ctDNA testing using a personalised tumour ...

Therapeutic potential of natural products in cancer immunotherapy: Advances and challenges
This review systematically outlines the mechanisms underlying tumour immunotherapy resistance and elucidates the role of natural products in enhancing therapeutic efficacy as immunomodulatory adjuvants. Abstract Immunotherapy has emerged as a clinically pivotal approach in cancer treatment, but its application remains limited to a small subset of ...
