Behaviour of Temperate Reef Fish Species Around Oyster Aquaculture Farms and Natural Rock Reefs
ABSTRACT Cultivation of eastern oysters using aquaculture gear increases habitat for temperate reef fish. Cunner (Tautogolabrus adspersus), scup (Stenotomus chrysops) and tautog (Tautoga onitis) inhabit a variety of complex natural and manmade habitats, including oyster aquaculture cage farms.

Daylight illuminant retrieval using redundant image elements
We present a method for retrieving illuminant spectra from a set of images taken with a fixed location camera, such as a surveillance or panoramic one. In these images, there will be significant changes in lighting conditions and scene content, but there will also be static elements in the background.

PREDICTING DAYLIGHT ILLUMINANCE IN URBAN CITY USING STATISTICAL REGRESSION TECHNIQUES
Prediction of daylight illuminance has become the prime concern for building designers. This paper presents the daylight illuminance frequency distribution, correlation coefficients amongst climate variables and linear regression models developed for moderate climate zone. The emphasis of the present study is to predict daylight illuminance intensities

Design Adjustments For Daylighting and Visual Comfort in a Classroom with Conventional Shadings
This paper evaluates how design adjustments applied to roller shades and louvres (namely the height of the shadings head and the angles of the louvre slats) can improve their annual and spatial effectiveness to provide autonomous daylight levels, reduce ...
