Antenna Measurements in Reverberation Chamber Using USRP

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2016
This paper shows that a universal software radio peripheral (USRP) can be used to measure the complete passive over-the-air (OTA) performance of multiport antennas for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. The passive MIMO OTA measurements are performed in a reverberation chamber using the USRP as a measurement instrument.

Integrating Software Defined Radio with USRP

open access: yesInternational Journal of Interdisciplinary Telecommunications and Networking, 2017
The USRP1 is the original Universal Software Radio Peripheral hardware (USRP) that provides entry-level RF processing capability. Its primary purpose is to provide flexible software defined radio development capability at a low price. You can control the frequency you receive and transmit by installing different daughter-boards. The authors' USRP model

Software-defined GPS receiver on USRP-platform

Journal of Network and Computer Applications, 2012
A non-real-time GPS software-defined radio was designed, built, and tested using the Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) platform. A hardware front-end to receive the GPS signal and downconvert it to an intermediate frequency was also implemented.

Teaching software defined radio using the USRP and LabVIEW

open access: yes2012 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2012
The universal software radio peripheral (USRP) family of products has become a popular platform for hardware-based research and test bed validations conducted by universities in the software defined radio (SDR) and cognitive radio (CR) fields. With the recently released version of National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW, the USRP now offers a scalable ...

Implementation of Non-stationary Channel Emulator Based on USRP

Lecture Notes of the Institute for Computer Sciences, Social-Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering, 2021
Inspired by the modular design of virtual instruments, a discrete non-stationary channel model and a flexible hardware architecture are proposed in this paper. On this basis, a universal channel emulator is implemented on universal software radio peripheral (USRP) platform.

Ultrawideband USRP-Based Channel Sounding Utilizing the RFNoC Framework

open access: yes, 2022
This paper shows how a channel sounder can be built with National Instruments (NI) Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) equipment, featuring onboard FPGA processing and utilizing open-source tools. Compared to other USPR-based channel sounders, our

Community Radio Using USRP 2920

2021 2nd Global Conference for Advancement in Technology (GCAT), 2021
Wireless communication is becoming increasingly important as technology advances. After commercial and public radio, community radio is the third type of broadcasting. Its goal is to give individuals with crucial local news and information for a small community. The proposed system shows how to use LABVIEW and the Universal Software Radio Peripheral to

SFCW Software-Defined Radar using LabVIEW and USRP for Subsurface Sensing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper, we describe the experiment of a dual-channel stepped-frequency continuous wave (SFCW) radar system using LabVIEW and NI USRP N210. The step-by-step of the radar design is discussed, including the SFCW signal generation, the USRP-LabVIEW ...

Remote Video Interception System Implemented on USRP

2016 IEEE International Conference on Internet of Things (iThings) and IEEE Green Computing and Communications (GreenCom) and IEEE Cyber, Physical and Social Computing (CPSCom) and IEEE Smart Data (SmartData), 2016
With the development of the technology, life is filled with increasing information equipment. When they work, a great deal of information will be radiated. For the leaked information, an interception system is built with USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral), and the line synchronization signal was extracted with a method called cepstrum. Compared
