An Analysis on the UV-Visible Spectrophotometry Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Medical, Pharmacy and Drug Research, 2023
In the pharmaceutical industry, quality control is a necessary process. Pharmaceutical medicinal products must be advertised as safe, therapeutically active formulations with predictable qualities and performance. The main aim of the study is an analysis on the UV-Visible Spectrophotometry Method.

In situ loss measurement of direct UV written waveguides using integrated Bragg gratings

open access: yes, 2010
The propagation loss of a direct UV-written silica-on-silicon waveguide is measured using an elegant nondestructive method. The technique uses integrated Bragg grating structures, which are observed from opposing launch directions to obtain information ...

BIOEQUIVALENCE OF NORFLOXACIN BY HPLC-UV METHOD [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Chilean Chemical Society, 2010
ABSTRACT A simple, rapid and convenient high performance liquid chromatographic method has been developed for the determination and bioequivalence of norfloxacin in tablets formulations by using ciprofloxacin as an internal standard. The chromatographic separation was achieved on a C18 column having an isocratic mixture of methanol, disodium hydrogen ...

A simple method for fabricating phase-shifted fibre Bragg gratings with flexible choice of centre wavelength [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A simple technique for fabricating phase-shifted fibre Bragg gratings (PSFBGs) without the use of a phase-shifted phase mask is presented. Two, 3-mm long, standard fibre Bragg gratings (FBGs) were inscribed sequentially in singlemode fibre at the same

Measurement of Ulnar Variance in a Regional Subset of Indian Population— A Pilot Study of 30 Subjects [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2015
Background: The variation of level of distal articulating surface of ulna with respect to distal articulating surface of radius is known as ulnar variance (UV). Positive and negative UV has been implicated in various wrist and hand pathologies.

Comments on a Method to Measure Sucralose Using UV Photodegradation Followed by UV Spectrophotometry

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 2017
Abstract A simple and quick method to measure sucralose in aqueous solution at concentrations in the order of 0.1–1.2 g·L−1 proposed by Idris et al. uses UV irradiation prior to UV spectrophotometry. The photolysis of sucralose forms a photoactive compound characterized by maximum absorbance at approximately 270 nm.
