A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

Effectiveness of Palatopharyngeal Surgery Modifications in Obstructive Sleep Apnea: A Meta‐analysis
Objective The effectiveness of various palatopharyngeal surgeries is currently poorly understood. This study compares various palatopharyngeal surgery techniques without tonsillectomy for reducing the apnea‐hypopnea index (AHI).

A graphene‐supported 2D metal–organic network stabilizes highly reactive Fe(I)‐N4 single sites through Co‐induced charge redistribution. Combined experiments and theory reveal Fe(I) formation, oxygen‐driven oxidation, and O2 activation mechanisms, offering a strategy to access low‐valent iron centers relevant to catalytic and biological processes ...

Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty and Barbed Reposition Pharyngoplasty with and without Hyoid Suspension for treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea: A Comparative Study of Functional Results [PDF]
Background: Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is a prevalent disorder impacting 23.4 percent of females and 49.7 percent of males aged forty years.Aim: To compare the functional results in cases of OSAHS having UPPP, regarding Fairbanks,
