2D Abrupt Nano‐Junctions Blending sp–sp2 Bonds on Atomically Precise Heterostructures
A lateral heterostructure between atomically precise sp–sp2$^2$ metalated graphdiyne and sp2$^2$ graphene nanoribbons is realized by on‐surface synthesis and investigated by STM and DFT. The impact of on‐surface synthesis byproducts on covalent junction formation yield is unveiled.

Ketorolac usage in tonsillectomy and uvulopalatopharyngoplasty patients
OBJECTIVE: Postoperative pain for tonsillectomy with or without adenoidectomy or uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) can be severe. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that can be administered for analgesia in these patients.

Fast Hydrogel Micro‐Actuators Driven by Electric Fields
We report the fabrication of chemically programmable electroactuating microstructures through the first integration of two‐photon polymerization with electrically actuated gelatin methacrylate‐based hydrogels. By tailoring the charge of the polymer network, we demonstrate programmable polarity‐dependent bending, enabling microstructures that ...

Early Retinal UCHL1 Dysregulation Coupled With Synaptic Loss Reflects Alzheimer's Disease Severity
This study identifies synapse‐enriched deubiquitinase UCHL1 as an early Aβ‐responsive regulator of retinal synaptopathy in Alzheimer's disease. Retinal UCHL1 loss accompanies excitatory synapse degeneration, p75NTR activation, and neuroinflammation, and predicts Braak stage and cognitive decline. Aβ42 fibrils trigger synaptic and UCHL1 depletion before

Short- and long-term outcomes of uvulopalatopharyngoplasty for snoring.
Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty is a well established and highly successful operation in the treatment of snoring. However, most published data are based on relatively short-term follow-up results.

Two‐dimensional CuInP2S6 nanosheets are incorporated into a P(VDF‐TrFE) matrix to induce polarization‐cooperative ferroelectric coupling. The resulting P(VDF‐TrFE)/CuInP2S6 hybrid film exhibits reinforced ferroelectric ordering and reduced coercive electric fields compared with pristine P(VDF‐TrFE).

Management of palatal snoring, Z palatoplasty and uvulopalatopharyngoplasty
Introduction: Snoring is “to breathe during sleep with harsh, snorting noises caused by vibration of the soft palate”. Naturally occurring or drug-induced sleep is a requirement for its appearance.
