Scene-Aware Adaptive Updating for Visual Tracking via Correlation Filters
In recent years, visual object tracking has been widely used in military guidance, human-computer interaction, road traffic, scene monitoring and many other fields. The tracking algorithms based on correlation filters have shown good performance in terms

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

QSO2 outflow characterization using data obtained with OSIRIS at the Gran Telescopio Canarias
Ionized outflows are ubiquitous in non radio-loud obscured quasars (QSO2s) at different redshifts. We search for large-scale ionized outflows associated with six optically selected QSO2 (five non-radio-loud and one radio-loud) at $z\sim$ 0.2-0.5 ...

Procedural Learning With Robust Visual Features via Low Rank Prior
In order to apply a convolutional neural network (CNN) to unseen datasets, a common way is to train a CNN using a pre-trained model on a big dataset by fine-tuning it instead of starting from scratch.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Robust Image Watermarking via Clustered Visual State-Space Modeling
Most existing DNN-based image watermarking methods adopt an “encoder–noise–decoder” paradigm, where the watermark is typically replicated and expanded in a straightforward manner and then directly fused with image features, which limits robustness under ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Robot Visual Tracking via Incremental Self-Updating of Appearance Model
This paper proposes a target tracking method called Incremental Self-Updating Visual Tracking for robot platforms. Our tracker treats the tracking problem as a binary classification: the target and the background.
