Evolution of conjugate vaccines
Conjugate vaccines--bacterial polysaccharides conjugated to proteins to improve their immunizing properties--have been a success story since their introduction less than 20 years ago. The Haemophilus influenzae type b conjugate vaccine has nearly eliminated invasive Haemophilus influenzae type b disease in large parts of the world.

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for

Herd Protection against Meningococcal Disease through Vaccination
Reduction in the transmission of Neisseria meningitidis within a population results in fewer invasive disease cases. Vaccination with meningococcal vaccines composed of high weight capsular polysaccharide without carrier proteins has minimal effect ...

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.
