Novel antibiotic activity of an endophytic Cryptosporiopsis sp. isolated from Vaccinium myrtillus
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1984An endophytic Cryptosporiopsis sp. isolated from Vaccinium myrtillus (bilberry) produced three different antibiotic-containing fractions on TLC plates. All were inhibitory to Candida albicans , which indicated that none of them was cryptosporiopsin, the only antibiotic so far known to be produced by this genus.

Is the polyploid cranberry (Vaccinium sp.) in Finland tetraploid or hexaploid?
Nordic Journal of Botany, 1996Only the hexaploid chromosome number of 2n=72 has been reported with convincing documentation for polyploid cranberry ( Vaccinium ) clones in Finland. Meiosis is regular in those cases which have been checked and dispersal by seeds is apparently efficient. The recent documented determinations

Root respiration and soil aeration status of blueberries (VacciniumSP.)
Journal of Plant Nutrition, 1983Abstract Plants of 3 progenies of Vaccinium sp. were utilized in exised root respiration studies over a range of O2 levels from 2.5 to 21%. Root respiration of plants from an intraspecific V. ashei Reade progeny, Powderblue x T‐142, were approximately half that of two other progenies, one with germplasm of V. ashei and V. constablaei Gray and the other

No species of Colletotrichum have been reported associated with Vaccinium dunalianum var. urophyllum, which is a significant medicinal plant in China. In this study, several endophytic strains were isolated from this host. Morphology and analysis of DNA sequences of nuc rDNA ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 (ITS barcode) and seven other gene regions (GAPDH, CAL, ACT ...
