Acceleration of frost hardening in Vaccinium vitis-idaea by nitrogen fertilization
Oecologia, 2001Vaccinium vitis-idaea L. plants were grown in open-top chambers in northern Finland under CO2 enrichment (600-700 ppm) with or without elevated (double ambient) O3. Half of the plants received ammonium nitrate fertilizer equivalent to 200 kg N ha-1 year-1.

Characterization of Phenolic Compounds from Lingonberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea)
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2006Phenolic compounds from the lingonberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea) were identified using LC-TOFMS, LC-MS/MS, and NMR experiments. The compounds were extracted from the plant material using methanol in an ultrasonicator and further isolated and purified using solid-phase extraction and preparative liquid chromatographic techniques.

Phenolic Distribution in Liquid Preparations of Vaccinium myrtillus L. and Vaccinium vitis idaea L.
Phytochemical Analysis, 2013ABSTRACTIntroductionLiquid preparations such as tinctures and ‘bud extracts’ of bilberry and lingonberry are typical products used in some European countries but they have not been widely studied to date.ObjectiveOur aim was to define a phytochemical profile in terms of phenolic compounds for liquid preparations of Vaccinium myrtillus L. (bilberry) and

Determination of Arbutin in Vaccinium vitis-idaea L. Leaves
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Journal, 2017A reversed-phase HPLC method for quantitative determination of arbutin in leaves of cowberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea L.) was developed. The optimal conditions for extracting arbutin from the plant raw material were found.

Decreased frost hardiness of Vaccinium vitis‐idaea in reponse to UV‐A radiation
Physiologia Plantarum, 2012The aim of this study was to investigate plant frost hardiness responses to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, since the few results reported are largely contradictory. It was hypothesized that functional adaptation of life forms could explain these contradictions.

Bruknė (Vaccinium vitis-idaea L.)
2007Ištirti natūraliuose augimvietėse rastų ir banduomuosiuose laukeliuose augintų bruknių morfotipai, siekiant atrinkti perspektyviausius kultivuoti. Pateikti atrinktų morfotipų vegetatyvinio augimo rodikliai (augalų projekcinis padengimas, krūmokšnių aukštis, ūglių ilgis, lapų plotas) ir aptartos derėjimo ypatybės (žiedų ir žiedynų rodikliai, uogų dydis,
