Deformation and Failure Mechanisms of Natural/Waste Rubber Blends Under Mechanical and Thermal Cycles: A Synchrotron In Situ Study

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.
This study explores how ground tire rubber (GTR) enhances strain‐induced crystallization (SIC) in natural rubber (NR) under mechanical and thermal cycles. Using in situ WAXD, it reveals improved reinforcement, delayed failure, and increased thermal resistance while increasing GTR content.
