This work establishes a novel method for generating multicellular liver organoids from control and MASH donor iPSCs. The model recapitulates several disease‐specific characteristics, with MASH donor‐derived organoids showing higher susceptibility. Lipidomic profiling of MASH organoids closely resembles MASH liver biopsies.

The role of SMLR1 in lipid metabolism (high fat + cholesterol diet in mice) Abstract Background and Aims The assembly and secretion of VLDL from the liver, a pathway that affects hepatic and plasma lipids, remains incompletely understood. We set out to identify players in the VLDL biogenesis pathway by identifying genes that are co‐expressed with the ...

Integrative multi‐omics analysis delineates a mitochondrial–immune axis governing neoadjuvant chemotherapy response in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer. Immune‐active tumors exhibit enhanced B‐cell infiltration and favorable sensitivity, whereas metabolically rewired tumors display oxidative phosphorylation dependency and resistance.

ARC3 levels are controlled by cytosolic and chloroplast proteolytic systems. PUB52 mediates ARC3 precursor ubiquitination and degradation in the cytosol, while CLPC1 promotes ARC3 degradation in chloroplasts, where ARC2 protects ARC3 from excessive breakdown. Disrupting these components causes chloroplast division defects, placing them upstream of ARC3.

Regulation of molecular packing, phototoxicity, and ROS output of AIE photosensitizers is achieved through carboxylation and alkyl‐chain‐length tuning. The probe designed via this strategy enables super‐resolution visualization of inner‐mitochondrial‐membrane cristae dynamics under controlled oxidative stress, and fluorescence‐lifetime imaging of ...

The bacterium Listeria monocytogenes (Lm) causes listeriosis in humans and ruminants. Acute lesions are predominantly infiltrated by polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs), considered to be the efficient bactericidal arm of innate immunity. However, recent

NLSS3 Impairs SHM1 Autophagic Degradation to Regulate Leaf Morphology and Salt Tolerance in Rice
In rice, NLSS3 binds and shields SHM1 from autophagic degradation to maintain serine homeostasis. The A132P mutation in nlss3 disrupts this, triggering SHM1 loss, metabolic dysfunction, K+ imbalance, and impaired ROS scavenging, which collectively drive narrow leaves and salt sensitivity.

Alteration of SH-group Contents in Red Beet Roots and Vacuoles under Osmotic Stress [PDF]
The content of sulfhydryl groups in homogenate of red beets and isolated vacuoles under the conditions of osmotic stress was determined. It was demonstrated that the common content of sulfhydryl groups in the isolated vacuoles was 2.4 times higher, than ...
