A cross-talk robust multichannel VAD model for multiparty agent interactions trained using synthetic re-recordings [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this work, we propose a novel cross-talk rejection framework for a multi-channel multi-talker setup for a live multiparty interactive show. Our far-field audio setup is required to be hands-free during live interaction and comprises four adjacent talkers with directional microphones in the same space.

Holmes-VAD: Towards Unbiased and Explainable Video Anomaly Detection via Multi-modal LLM [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Towards open-ended Video Anomaly Detection (VAD), existing methods often exhibit biased detection when faced with challenging or unseen events and lack interpretability. To address these drawbacks, we propose Holmes-VAD, a novel framework that leverages precise temporal supervision and rich multimodal instructions to enable accurate anomaly ...

PaSTe: Improving the Efficiency of Visual Anomaly Detection at the Edge [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Visual Anomaly Detection (VAD) has gained significant research attention for its ability to identify anomalous images and pinpoint the specific areas responsible for the anomaly. A key advantage of VAD is its unsupervised nature, which eliminates the need for costly and time-consuming labeled data collection.
