Phase Transformation Behavior of Continuously Cooled Fe–C–V–(Mo) Alloys

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
Additions of vanadium and molybdenum microalloying are shown to reshape phase transformations in clean low‐carbon steels. By tracking microstructural shifts during continuous cooling, the work uncovers the correlation between transformation kinetics, ferrite morphology, and hardness.

Role of adjunctive methacryloyloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate primers on dentin bond strength of universal adhesives under saliva and artificial aging

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Oral Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract This study evaluated whether adjunctive 10‐methacryloyloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate (MDP) primers enhance the microtensile bond strength (µTBS) of two universal adhesives (UAs) to dentin under artificial aging and repeated salivary contamination applied at each bonding step.

Formation of Wear-Resistant Vanadium Carbide Layer on the Surface of Steels

open access: yes, 1990

Recent Development in Solar‐to‐Hydrogen Conversion Systems

open access: yesWIREs Energy and Environment, Volume 15, Issue 3, September 2026.
This review compares three solar‐driven hydrogen production methods, photocatalysis (PC), photoelectrochemical cells (PEC), and photovoltaic–electrochemical (PV–EC) systems by examining their mechanisms, materials, stability, and efficiency. Nanocrystal‐based PC catalysts achieved the highest quantum efficiency (94%), while PV–EC and Si nanowire PEC ...

Oxidation behavior of vanadium carbide powder.

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Science, 1998
In this study, the oxidation of vanadium carbide (VC) powder at high temperatures was investigated in order to determine the possibility of its high-temperature use and additional material for improvement of the oxidation resistance of carbon-carbon (C/C) composites. VC powder with an average particle size of about 10μm was used in this experiment. The
