The development of an incremental debugging system : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Computer Science at Massey University [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
Debugging is a major area of software development that has received little attention. This thesis starts by looking at work done in the area of bug prevention, bug detection, bug location and bug correction.

Percolation and Critical Behaviour in SU(2) Gauge Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
The paramagnetic-ferromagnetic transition in the Ising model can be described as percolation of suitably defined clusters. We have tried to extend such picture to the confinement-deconfinement transition of SU(2) pure gauge theory, which is in the same ...

Parallel Analysis of Acidic and Basic Proteoforms in Cell Lysates via Native Cation and Anion Exchange Chromatography—Native Mass Spectrometry

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Comprehensive characterization of proteoforms in complex biological systems remains a significant challenge. While native ion‐exchange chromatography (IEC) hyphenated with native mass spectrometry (nMS) is a powerful tool for resolving proteoforms, three critical limitations persist: restricted volatile buffers causing nonlinear pH gradients ...

Solubilities of CL‐20 and MDNT in Organic Solvents for Technical Cocrystallization

open access: yesPropellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The 1:1 molar cocrystal of 2,4,6,8,10,12‐hexanitro‐2,4,6,8,10,12‐hexaazaisowurtzitane (CL‐20) and 1‐methyl‐3,5‐dinitro‐1,2,4‐triazole (MDNT) is reported to show a detonation velocity 100 m/s faster than β‐HMX. To establish a scalable synthesis method, the solubility of ε‐CL‐20 and MDNT was investigated.

Study of Strangeness Condensation by Expanding About the Fixed Point of the Harada-Yamawaki Vector Manifestation

open access: yes, 2005
Building on, and extending, the result of a higher-order in-medium chiral perturbation theory combined with renormalization group arguments and a variety of observations of the vector manifestation of Harada-Yamawaki hidden local symmetry theory, we ...

Thermally Bistable Stiff Stilbene Photoswitches and Polymer Applications

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
Thermally stable photoswitches offer new opportunities for controlling polymer structures and functions under nonequilibrium conditions. This Personal Account highlights stiff stilbene (SS) and sterically hindered stiff stilbene (HSS) photoswitches, which combine large structural changes with exceptional thermal bistability.

The properties of attractors of canalyzing random Boolean networks

open access: yes, 2005
We study critical random Boolean networks with two inputs per node that contain only canalyzing functions. We present a phenomenological theory that explains how a frozen core of nodes that are frozen on all attractors arises.
