Tunable transmission and harmonic generation in nonlinear metamaterials
We study the properties of a tunable nonlinear metamaterial operating at microwave frequencies. We fabricate the nonlinear metamaterial composed of double split-ring resonators and wires where a varactor diode is introduced into each resonator so that ...

Programmable Chiral Radiation via Spin‐Decoupled Metasurface with Integrated Compound Phases
A programmable spin‐decoupled metasurface integrating propagation and geometric phases enables high‐purity chiral radiation with reconfigurable emission direction. Spin‐selective radiators combined with a compound phase decoupling strategy suppress undesired components, while embedded PIN diodes allow real‐time directional control.

A Scalable and Integrated Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface
A scalable X‐band reconfigurable intelligent surface is presented using one‐bit phase‐tunable unit cells with integrated FPGA control. The RIS supports fast, high‐speed reconfiguration through WiFi, LAN, and USB interfaces and can be scaled to multiple tiles. The design achieves over 20 dBi broadside gain and reliable 2D beam steering in both elevation

A 2.5 mW D‐Band Broadband Simultaneous Noise‐ and Input‐Matched InP LNA
This work presents a D‐band, ultra‐low‐power, broadband two‐stage low‐noise amplifier (LNA) implemented in a 250‐nm InP DHBT process. Using a simultaneous noise and input matching technique with a gain‐boosted feedback network, the LNA achieves 6.2 dB noise figure and 27 dB gain from 130 to 155 GHz while consuming only 2.5 mW.

The study presents the design and development of a plasma‐based antenna array system for the UHF band. The system features an omnidirectional plasma antenna as its active radiator, a novel approach that has not been previously explored. Surrounding plasma reflectors form a reconfigurable array around the monopole plasma antenna for beam shaping and ...
