This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

The Strain energy density to estimate lifetime of notched components subjected to variable amplitude fatigue loading [PDF]
In the present paper, the approach based on the strain energy density (SED) averaged over a structural volume is reformulated to estimate the lifetime of notched components subjected to variable amplitude (VA) uniaxial fatigue loading.

Response maxima in modulated turbulence [PDF]
Isotropic and homogeneous turbulence driven by an energy input modulated in time is studied within a variable range mean-field theory. The response of the system, observed in the second order moment of the large-scale velocity difference D(L,t)=>~Re(t)^2$

Tracking Motor Progression and Device‐Aided Therapy Eligibility in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective To characterise the progression of motor symptoms and identify eligibility for device‐aided therapies in Parkinson's disease, using both the 5‐2‐1 criteria and a refined clinical definition, while examining differences across genetic subgroups.

Towards the understanding of variable amplitude fatigue [PDF]
Fatigue life estimation is of high importance during the design stage of a machine or component. Basic fatigue calculations are made based on the use of an S-N curve. As far as constant amplitude loads are applied, this approach works well. However, most

Four New Delta Scuti Pulsators from a Variability Survey of 131 Stars
In a photometric variability survey of 131 stars with B < 14 mag, we have found four new Delta Scuti stars. We were sensitive to oscillation amplitudes as low as a few mmag.

Stabilization of an AM mode-locked tea CO2 laser [PDF]
An increased shot-to-shot reproducibility has been obtained by injection of radiation from a cw CO2 laser in an amplitude mode-locked TEA CO2 laser without additional pulse broadening.

Visual Recovery Reflects Cortical MeCP2 Sensitivity in Rett Syndrome
ABSTRACT Objective Rett syndrome (RTT) is a devastating neurodevelopmental disorder with developmental regression affecting motor, sensory, and cognitive functions. Sensory disruptions contribute to the complex behavioral and cognitive difficulties and represent an important target for therapeutic interventions.

PE-HD fatigue damage accumulation under variable loading based on various damage models
Despite numerous studies on fatigue of polymer materials under variable loading, there is little work on highdensity polyethylene (PE-HD). In this context, an experimental analysis for determining the fatigue strength of PE-100, under constant and ...
