ABSTRACT Background An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fms‐like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3‐ITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3‐ITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...

Second-order boundary-value problems with variable exponents
In this article, we study ordinary differential equations with p(x)-Laplacian and subject to small perturbations of nonhomogeneous Neumann conditions.

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Denominators of cluster variables
Associated to any acyclic cluster algebra is a corresponding triangulated category known as the cluster category. It is known that there is a one-to-one correspondence between cluster variables in the cluster algebra and exceptional indecomposable ...

Homogeneous Herz spaces with variable exponents and regularity results
In this paper we deal with the second order divergence form operators $\mathcal{L}$ with coefficients satisfying the vanishing mean oscillation property and we prove some regularity results for a solution to $\mathcal{L}u=\mathrm{div}\, f$, where $f ...

Geometry, Scaling and Universality in the Mass Distributions in Heavy Ion Collisions
Various features of the mass yields in heavy ion collisions are studied. The mass yields are discussed in terms of iterative one dimensional discrete maps.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Multiplicity of solutions for an anisotropic variable exponent problem
In this manuscript an existence result for an anisotropic variable problem which is related to several applications is proved. By considering suitable hypotheses, the multiplicity of solutions is obtained.

Let $L$ be a linear operator on $L^2(\mathbb R^n)$ generating an analytic semigroup $\{e^{-tL}\}_{t\ge0}$ with kernels having pointwise upper bounds and $p(\cdot):\ \mathbb R^n\to(0,1]$ be a variable exponent function satisfying the globally log-H\"older
