Local Error Bounds for Affine Variational Inequalities on Hilbert Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
This paper gives some results related to the research problem about infinite-dimensional affine variational inequalities raised by N.D. Yen and X. Yang [Affine variational inequalities on normed spaces, J. Optim. Theory Appl., 178 (2018), 36--55]. Namely, we obtain local error bounds for affine variational inequalities on Hilbert spaces.

Variations on the theme of Marcinkiewicz’ inequality [PDF]

open access: yesJournal d'Analyse Mathématique, 2002
We present a new approach to the Marcinkiewicz interpolation inequality for the distribution function of the Hilbert transform, and prove an "abstract" version of this inequality. The approach uses "logarithmic determinants" and new estimates of canonical products of genus one.

Equilibrium problems on Riemannian manifolds with applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We study the equilibrium problem on general Riemannian manifolds. The results on existence of solutions and on the convex structure of the solution set are established.

Adaptive Methods or Variational Inequalities with Relatively Smooth and Reletively Strongly Monotone Operators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
The article is devoted to some adaptive methods for variational inequalities with relatively smooth and relatively strongly monotone operators. Starting from the recently proposed proximal variant of the extragradient method for this class of problems, we investigate in detail the method with adaptively selected parameter values.

Variational representations related to Tsallis relative entropy

open access: yes, 2019
We develop variational representations for the deformed logarithmic and exponential functions and use them to obtain variational representations related to the quantum Tsallis relative entropy.

A Novel Simulation Approach for Damage Evolution during Tailored Forming

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Traditional damage models are struggling to accurately and efficiently simulate large‐scale three‐dimensional models with a great number of degrees of freedoms. A new gradient‐enhanced damage model based on the extended Hamilton principle can significantly reduce the computation time while ensuring mesh‐independence which is suitable to use in tailored

A New System of Multivalued Mixed Variational Inequality Problem

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We consider a new system of multivalued mixed variational inequality problem, which includes some known systems of variational inequalities as special cases.

RETRACTED ARTICLE: On stability analysis for generalized Minty variational-hemivariational inequality in reflexive Banach spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
The stability for a class of generalized Minty variational-hemivariational inequalities has been considered in reflexive Banach spaces. We demonstrate the equivalent characterizations of the generalized Minty variational-hemivariational inequality.

On the General Variational Inequality

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1993
AbstractIn this paper, we investigate the general variational inequality which extends the classical variational inequality in finite dimensional spaces. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution of this problem are obtained. Some existence results are derived using the fixed point theory.

Advancing Digital Transformation in Material Science: The Role of Workflows Within the MaterialDigital Initiative

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 8, April 2025.
The MaterialDigital initiative drives the digital transformation of material science by promoting findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable principles and enhancing data interoperability. This article explores the role of scientific workflows, highlights challenges in their adoption, and introduces the Workflow Store as a key tool for sharing ...
