Foreign labor, peer‐networking and agricultural efficiency in the Italian dairy sector
Abstract While the presence of immigrants in the agricultural sector is widely acknowledged, the empirical evidence on its economic consequences is lacking, especially from a microeconomic perspective. Using the Farm Accountancy Data Network panel data for Italian dairy farms in the period 2008–2018, the present study investigates the relationship ...

An Algorithm with Remote Set Control for Inverse Strongly Monotone Mappings
In 2003, W. Takahashi and M. Toyoda established the weak convergence of the iteration process of solving a variational inequality problem. This variational inequality is associated with an inverse strongly monotone mapping.

Optimal control of variational inequality with applications to axisymmetric shells [PDF]
summary:The optimal control problem of variational inequality with applications to axisymmetric shells is discussed. First an existence result for the solution of the optimal control problem is given.

Food Tastes in the United States: Convergence or Divergence?
ABSTRACT This study investigates how food consumption tastes have changed in recent decades across the United States. Using NielsenIQ data for over 77 million transactions, there is evidence of divergence in food tastes across regions from 2007 to 2016 and across households of different income, education, and race/ethnicity groups.

The uniqueness of the solution for the definite problem of a parabolic variational inequality
The uniqueness of the solution for the definite problem of a parabolic variational inequality is proved. The problem comes from the study of the optimal exercise strategies for the perpetual executive stock options with unrestricted exercise in financial

Variational Inequalities and Economic Equilibrium
Variational inequality representations are set up for a general Walrasian model of consumption and production with trading in a market. The variational inequalities are of functional rather than geometric type and therefore are able to accommodate a wider range of utility functions than has been covered satisfactorily in the past.
