Analytical Solutions of Heat-Like Equation Using Elzaki Transform Variational Iteration Method: Black–Scholes Equation

open access: yesComplexity
This paper presents the application of the Elzaki variational iteration method to solve the Black–Scholes model, which can be formulated as a heat-like partial differential equation with specified initial conditions.

RoundMi: A quantitative method to analyze mitochondrial morphology in mitotic cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
RoundMi is a workflow for rapid analysis of mitochondrial morphology in mitotic cells. By combining adaptive preprocessing with automated segmentation and quantification, it enables accurate measurements from single focal plane images, reducing acquisition time and computational demands while remaining compatible with high‐throughput fixed and live ...

ADOMIAN DECOMPOSITION METHOD AND VARIATIONAL ITERATION METHOD FOR SOLVING SASA-SATSUMA EQUATION

open access: yesScience Journal of University of Zakho
The Sasa-Satsuma equation is an integrable higher-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation. In this paper, two schemes are proposed to study numerical solutions of the Sasa-Satsuma nonlinear Schrödinger equation with initial conditions using the Adomian ...

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Hybrid and Relaxed Mann Iterations for General Systems of Variational Inequalities and Nonexpansive Mappings

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We introduce hybrid and relaxed Mann iteration methods for a general system of variational inequalities with solutions being also common solutions of a countable family of variational inequalities and common fixed points of a countable family of ...

CX3CL1 in Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease: Plasma Dynamics Across Age and Disease Stages

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Backgrounds Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid‐beta plaques, tau tangles, and neuroinflammation. C‐X3‐C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CX3CL1, also known as fractalkine), a neuroimmune chemokine implicated in AD pathogenesis, shows inconsistent alterations in plasma/serum across studies.

Epilepsy‐Associated Variants of a Single SCN1A Codon Exhibit Divergent Functional Properties

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Pathogenic variants in SCN1A, which encodes the voltage‐gated sodium channel NaV1.1, are associated with multiple epilepsy syndromes exhibiting a range of clinical severity. SCN1A variants are reported in different syndromes, including Dravet syndrome, which is associated with loss‐of‐function, whereas neonatal/infantile‐onset ...
