Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Probabilistic and Geometric Languages in the Context of the Principle of Least Action [PDF]
This paper explores the question of the unification of the three basic languages of physics, the geometric language of forces, the geometric language of fields or 4-dimensional space-time, and the probabilistic language of quantum mechanics.

Parametric Ekeland's variational principle [PDF]
A parametrized version of Ekeland's variational principle is proved, showing that under suitable conditions, the minimum point of the perturbed function can be chosen to depend continuously on a parameter.

The cell‐autonomous roles of interferon type 1 vary based on duration and intensity. While acute, robust signaling results in cancer cell cytotoxic effects, sustained, low‐level signaling is associated with tumor‐promoting effects. This review summarizes current research of IFN‐1 in cancer and within the clinical setting, with an emphasis on female ...

Well-posed Vector Optimization Problems and Vector Variational Inequalities [PDF]
In this paper we introduce notions of well-posedness for a vector optimization problem and for a vector variational inequality of differential type, we study their basic properties and we establish the links among them.

Existence Theorems for Variational Inclusion Problems and the Set-valued Vector Ekeland Variational Principle in a Complete Metric Space [PDF]
[[abstract]]In this paper, we apply an existence theorem for the variational inclusion problem to study the existence results for the variational intersection problems in Ekeland’s sense and the existence results for some variants of set-valued vector ...

New variational principle for transport theory [PDF]
A general variational principle of Kahan, Rideau, and Roussopoulos is shown to be applicable to problems of transport theory and in particular to the solution of the Milne problem.

Variational Principle for Weakly Dependent Random Fields [PDF]
Using an alternative notion of entropy introduced by Datta, the max-entropy, we present a new simplified framework to study the minimizers of the specific free energy for random fields which are weakly dependent in the sense of Lewis, Pfister, and ...

Infinitely many solutions to the Dirichlet problem for quasilinear elliptic systems
In this paper we deal with the existence of weak solutions for some Dirichlet problem. The existence of solutions is proved by applying a critical point variational principle obtained by B. Ricceri as consequence of a more general variational principle.

A High Precision Direct Integration Scheme Based on Variational Principle and Its Applications
Dynamics response of systems to impact or loading may be effectively treated by direct integration. However, it is often difficult to select the time-step of integration properly, especially in the case which the system is badly stiff.
