The landscape of cell regulatory and communication networks in the human dental follicle
IntroductionThe dental follicle localizes the surrounding enamel organ and dental papilla of the developing tooth germ during the embryonic stage. It can differentiate and develop to form the periodontal ligament, cementum, and alveolar bone tissues ...

A bioassembly approach is described using photo‐crosslinked gelatin‐based microgels containing calcium peroxide (CaO2) to generate oxygen (O2) and enhance cell survival in hypoxic conditions (1% O2). Bioassembly enables spatial patterning of individual CaO2‐laden and mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)‐laden microgels and allows for decoupling and mitigating ...

Pressure skin wounds are frequent complications after spinal cord injury (SCI), with impaired healing due to vascular and immune deficits. Elastin‐like polypeptides (ELP) fused to α‐MSH (MSH‐ELP) or MCP‐1 (MCP‐ELP) are developed and tested on these wounds. The resulting nanoparticles are non‐toxic and bioactive, and they enhance macrophage recruitment,

Cardiovascular ephrinB2 function is essential for embryonic angiogenesis [PDF]
EphrinB2, a transmembrane ligand of EphB receptor tyrosine kinases, is specifically expressed in arteries. In ephrinB2 mutant embryos, there is a complete arrest of angiogenesis.

This work presents ARC‐3D, a soft 3D model that recreates how brain support cells, called astrocytes, react to oxidative stress. The system visualizes rapid calcium changes and inflammatory signals, and shows how the drug KDS12025 can protect cells from damage. ARC‐3D offers a simple, reliable way to study early drivers of brain inflammation.

Primary Hypertension in Children and Adolescents: Risk Factors and Vascular Damage
The incidence of primary hypertension is on the rise in the pediatric population, with an approximate prevalence ranging from 3% to 5%. The most significant risk factors for the onset and development of primary hypertension are well-known, and some of ...
