Sections of homogeneous vector bundles

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2010
AbstractIn this work we give a method for computing sections of homogeneous vector bundles on any rational homogeneous variety G/P of type ADE. Our main tool is the equivalence of categories between homogeneous vector bundles on G/P and finite dimensional representations of a given quiver with relations. Our result generalizes the work of Ottaviani and

Performance Triggered Adaptive Model Reduction for Soil Moisture Estimation in Precision Irrigation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Accurate soil moisture information is essential for precise irrigation to enhance water use efficiency. Estimating soil moisture based on limited soil moisture sensors is especially critical for obtaining comprehensive soil moisture information when dealing with large‐scale agricultural fields.

Note on the group of vertical diffeomorphisms of a principal bundle & its relation to the Frölicher-Nijenhuis bracket

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The group of vertical diffeomorphisms of a principal bundle forms the action Lie groupoid associated to the bundle. The former is generated by the group of maps with value in the structure group, which is also the group of bisections of the groupoid. The

Complex Finsler structures on CR-holomorphic vector bundles [PDF]

open access: yesRendiconti di Matematica e delle Sue Applicazioni, 1999
For any CR-holomorphic vector bundle (in the sense of N. Tanaka, [16]) E, over a strictly pseudoconvex CR manifold M, equipped with a convex complex Finsler structure F, we build a connection D in the pullback bundle π∗E of E by π : E \ {0} −→M, similar ...

Retrotransposon Expression Is Upregulated in Adulthood and Suppressed during Regeneration of the Limb in the Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum)

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
The axolotl's remarkable regenerative abilities decline with age, the causes may include the numerous repetitive elements within its genome. This study uncovers how Ty3 retrotransposons and coexpression networks involving muscle and immune pathways respond to aging and regeneration, suggesting that transposons respond to physiological shifts and may ...

Activation of SIRT1 Reduces Renal Tubular Epithelial Cells Fibrosis in Hypoxia Through SIRT1‐FoxO1‐FoxO3‐Autophagy Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
Hypoxia promotes the epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) of renal tubular epithelial cells via the SIRT1‐FoxO1‐FoxO3‐autophagy pathway, thereby resulting in the fibrosis of renal tubular epithelial cells. Activation of SIRT1 or induction of autophagy inhibits this process, alleviating hypoxia‐induced fibrosis.

Locally trivial quantum vector bundles and associated vector bundles

open access: yes, 2000
We define locally trivial quantum vector bundles (QVB) and QVB associated to locally trivial quantum principal fibre bundles. There exists a differential structure on the associated vector bundle coming from the differential structure on the principal bundle, which allows to define connections on the associated vector bundle associated to connections ...
