Current Regulation Strategies for Vector-Controlled Induction Motor Drives

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2012
Dynamically accurate torque control is an essential prerequisite for higher performance motor drive systems. For ac induction motors (IMs), the two most established strategies are direct torque control (DTC) and vector or field orientated control. DTC directly switches the inverter to regulate torque without requiring explicit stator current regulation.

Research of Hysteresis PWM Rectifier Based on the Current Vector Control

2008 IEEE Pacific-Asia Workshop on Computational Intelligence and Industrial Application, 2008
According to high power factor and the actual project needs which are requirements of three-phase rectifier control as known, the research of three-phase PWM rectifier is based on the current vector control. The system still adopts hysteresis current control strategy.

Space vector modulation for five-level current source converter with optimal vector sequence and DC current balancing control

IECON 2017 - 43rd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2017
Multilevel current source converter (MCSC) is an effective way to increase the power rating of conventional current source-fed motor drive, especially its current rating. However, there are still several challenges existing in this kind of configuration, which mainly focus on its space vector modulation (SVM) technique and the inherent DC current ...

Vector Control of PMSM Drive with Single Current Sensor

2020 IEEE Students Conference on Engineering & Systems (SCES), 2020
This paper presents a current-estimation technique by a single current sensor for vector-controlled Permanent Magnet Synchronous-Motor (PMSM) drive. This estimates the two-phase currents for a three-phase machine in the stationary reference frame.

Inverter nonlinearities and discrete-time vector current control

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1994
The authors study all-digital discrete-time vector current control loops containing a voltage-fed inverter in series with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Normal operation of the typical pulse width modulating voltage fed inverter introduces nonlinear distortion into the voltage and the current waveforms of the motor. The authors consider both the

Current Controller for Autocommissioned Vector-Controlled Induction Motor Drives

Electric Machines & Power Systems, 2000
A current controller composed of a current regulator associated to a parameter adaptation scheme is proposed. The current regulator considers the inherent coupled structure of the induction machine. The adaptive block is coupled to this regulator in order to carry out a high performance current control with low sensitivity to parameter variations.

[Prevention and control of leishmaniasis vectors: current approaches].

Parassitologia, 2004
Phlebotomine sandflies (Diptera: Psychodidae) are the suspected or proven vectors of Leishmania spp. in at least 88 countries, including over 40 Phlebotomus species in the Old World and a further 30 belonging to the genus Lutzomyia in the New World. In recent years, both cutaneous (CL) and zoonotic visceral leishmaniasis (ZVL) have become increasingly ...

Current Prospects for the Control of the Vectors of Malaria and Filariasis

2010
Mir Mulla developed the view that biological control, when reinforced with other methods, was an important component of the control of vector-borne disease. Recent developments in the use of insecticide-impregnated bed nets, the tracking of the emergence of pyrethroid resistance and the use of therapeutic drugs to combat the pathogenic agent of ...

DFIM vector control sensitivity with current sensor faults

COMPEL - The international journal for computation and mathematics in electrical and electronic engineering, 2010
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to present a doubly fed induction machine (DFIM) operating in motor mode and supplied by two voltage source inverters (in stator and rotor sides).Design/methodology/approachThe aim is to analyze the current sensor fault effects on the stator flux‐oriented control according to the current input‐output decoupling. This
