Compatibility of vectored and non-vectored VDSL2

2012 46th Annual Conference on Information Sciences and Systems (CISS), 2012
Vectoring cancels the crosstalk between multiple VDSL2 lines and can greatly improve performance, particularly on short loops. Crosstalk cancellation can only be performed on lines within a vector group and vectored lines may experience uncancelled crosstalk from nearby lines that are non-vectored or in a separate vector group.

THE VECTOR MULTIPROCESSOR

International Journal of High Speed Computing, 2000
Summary: The vector multiprocessor brings to the multiprocessor what vectorization brought to the single processor. In addition to the usual complement of logic and arithmetic units, each processor contains a programmable communication unit with registers that communicate directly with comparable registers in neighboring processors via an \(n ...

Vectors and Vector Fields

2012
The purpose of this book is to explain in a rigorous way Stokes’s theorem and to facilitate the student’s use of this theorem in applications. Neither of these aims can be achieved without first agreeing on the notation and necessary background concepts of vector calculus, and therein lies the motivation for our introductory chapter.

An Introduction to Vectors, Vector Operators and Vector Analysis

2016
Ideal for undergraduate and graduate students of science and engineering, this book covers fundamental concepts of vectors and their applications in a single volume. The first unit deals with basic formulation, both conceptual and theoretical. It discusses applications of algebraic operations, Levi-Civita notation, and curvilinear coordinate systems ...

Binary Vectors and Super-binary Vectors

2006
A binary vector is a standard tool in the transformation of higher plants mediated by Agrobacterium tumefaciens. It is composed of the borders of T-DNA, multiple cloning sites, replication functions for Escherichia coli and A. tumefaciens, selectable marker genes, reporter genes, and other accessory elements that can improve the efficiency of and/or ...

Vectors and Vector Spaces

1978
In nearly all of the discussion to follow we shall deal with the set of real numbers. Occasionally, however, we shall deal with complex numbers as well. In order to avoid cumbersome repetition we shall denote the set we are dealing with by F and let the context elucidate whether we are speaking of real or complex numbers or both.

Models for Vectors and Vector-Borne Diseases

2006
The development of models for species' distributions is briefly reviewed, concentrating on logistic regression and discriminant analytical methods. Improvements in each type of modelling approach have led to increasingly accurate model predictions. This review addresses several key issues that now confront those wishing to choose the "right" sort of ...
