Index Sets and Vectorization [PDF]
Vectorization is data parallelism (SIMD, SIMT, etc.) - extension of ISA enabling the same instruction to be performed on multiple data items simultaeously. Many/most CPUs support vectorization in some form.

A New Approach to Detect Hand-Drawn Dashed Lines in Engineering Sketches
Sketched drawings sometimes include non-solid lines drawn as sets of consecutive strokes. They represent dashed lines, which are useful for various purposes.

Spectrally encapsulated OFDM: Vectorized structure with minimal complexity
To efficiently use frequency resources, the next 6th generation mobile communication technology must solve the problem of out‐of‐band emission (OoBE) of cyclic prefix (CP) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), which is not solved in 5th ...

Vector quality measure for vector beams [PDF]
Vector beams are spatial modes of light with spatially variant polarization states in the transverse profile. Over the years, vector beams have found their way into plenty of applications ranging from material processing and lithography to electron acceleration and particle trapping.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

ITERATIVE VECTORIZATION OF ARCHITECTURAL AND TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
Vectorization is the process of translating drawings from raster to editable vector format. Vectorization of architectural and technical drawings is often required to review or update existing projects.
