On axoplasmic pressure waves and their possible role in nerve impulse propagation
It is suggested that the propagation of the action potential is accompanied by an axoplasmic pressure pulse propagating in the axoplasm along the axon length.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Atrial Rate And Rhythm Abnormalities In A Patient With Hyperkalemia
A 67 year old man presented with a serum potassium of 7.7 mEq/L and slow atrial flutter with variable A-V block and peaked T waves. Initial treatment for hyperkalemia was followed by an increase in the atrial flutter rate to 300 beats per minute.

Discussion about the characteristics of flow in atmospheric airflow field using the complex function
Different levels of fluctuation occur when airflow passes over different terrain. It is important for weather and climate change, as well as aviation and glider safety, to study the motion of airflow. Based on conformal mapping and the complex potential,

The Imaginary Potential of Heavy Quarkonia Moving in Strongly Coupled Plasma
The melting of a heavy quark-antiquark bound state depends on the screening phenomena associated with the binding energy, as well as scattering phenomena associated with the imaginary part of the potential.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Transport of Brownian particles confined to a weakly corrugated channel
We investigate the average velocity of Brownian particles driven by a constant external force when constrained to move in two-dimensional, weakly-corrugated channels. We consider both the geometric confinement of the particles between solid walls as well

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...
