The vertex arboricity va(G) of graph G is defined as the minimum of subsets in a partition of the vertex set of G so that each subset induces an acyclic subgraph and has been widely studied.

Targeting Lilrb4a in Apolipoprotein E4 (APOE4)‐associated Alzheimer's disease (AD) reprograms microglia toward a beneficial, phagocytic state. Genetic deletion or antisense inhibition of Lilrb4a suppresses p‐SHP2/NF‐κB/STAT1 signaling, restores PPAR‐linked lipid and energy metabolism, and reduces amyloid plaque burden and cerebral amyloid angiopathy ...

Reflection algebra and functional equations
In this work we investigate the possibility of using the reflection algebra as a source of functional equations. More precisely, we obtain functional relations determining the partition function of the six-vertex model with domain-wall boundary ...

2K2 vertex-set partition into nonempty parts
Abstract A graph is 2K2-partitionable if its vertex set can be partitioned into four nonempty parts A, B, C, D such that each vertex of A is adjacent to each vertex of B, and each vertex of C is adjacent to each vertex of D. Determining whether an arbitrary graph is 2K2-partitionable is the only vertex-set partition problem into four nonempty parts ...

On the partition dimension of trees
10.1016/j.dam.2013.09.026Given an ordered partition ?={P1,P2,., Pt} of the vertex set V of a connected graph G=(V,E), the partition representation of a vertex v?V with respect to the partition ? is the vector r(v|?)=(d(v,P1),d(v,P2),.,d(v,Pt)), where d(v,

We establish a tBid‐mediated cell ablation system in axolotls, achieve rapid and efficient ablation of multiple cell types, including muscle stem cell, spinal cord cell, and connective tissue (CT) cells. We investigate the role of CT using tBid‐mediated CT ablation and identify its essential role for limb development and regeneration.

On Graphs with Disjoint Dominating and 2-Dominating Sets
A DD2-pair of a graph G is a pair (D,D2) of disjoint sets of vertices of G such that D is a dominating set and D2 is a 2-dominating set of G. Although there are infinitely many graphs that do not contain a DD2-pair, we show that every graph with minimum ...

Achieving High‐Density and Stress‐Resilient Maize Breeding Via Germplasm Innovation
Global population growth and climate change have exacerbated the global food crisis. This perspective presents a conceptual framework focusing on enhancing population advantages. Several novel breeding objectives are proposed to improve density tolerance and stress resistance for yield improvement.

Advanced Dental Composite Technology via Bisilanized Dual‐Action Nanofillers for Biofilm Control
A multimodal research strategy has led to the development of an innovative resin‐based composite (RBC) with dual antibacterial action. The S_CM‐RBC formula showed strong antibiofilm activity, excellent mechanical strength, and biosafety. It effectively controlled oral bacteria in prevention of caries recurrence, and maintained pulp health in a rat ...
