Trees with Certain Locating-chromatic Number

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical and Fundamental Sciences, 2016
The locating-chromatic number of a graph G can be defined as the cardinality of a minimum resolving partition of the vertex set V(G) such that all vertices have distinct coordinates with respect to this partition and every two adjacent vertices in G are ...

Introduction to coalitions in graphs

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, 2020
A coalition in a graph consists of two disjoint sets of vertices V1 and V2, neither of which is a dominating set but whose union is a dominating set. A coalition partition in a graph G of order is a vertex partition such that every set Vi of π either is ...

On Vertex Partitions of Hypercubes by Isometric Trees [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics, 2011
When $n=2^m-1$ M.Ramras proved, by a counting argument, that for any isometrically embedded tree $T$ on $n$ edges in $Q_n$ there exists a group of translations $G$ such that $\left\{g(T); g\in G \right\}$ is a vertex partition of $Q_n$. Considering a more general context we are able to give an explicit construction of $G$ and can construct non group ...

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

Trinion conformal blocks from topological strings

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
In this paper we investigate the relation between conformal blocks of Liouville CFT and the topological string partition functions of the rank one trinion theory T 2.

Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...

Vertex partitioning and p-energy of graphs

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications
For a Hermitian matrix $A$ of order $n$ with eigenvalues $λ_1(A)\ge \cdots\ge λ_n(A)$, define \[ \mathcal{E}_p^+(A)=\sum_{λ_i > 0} λ_i^p(A), \quad \mathcal{E}_p^-(A)=\sum_{λ_i<0} |λ_i(A)|^p,\] to be the positive and the negative $p$-energy of $A$, respectively.

Embedded Ferroelectric Nanoclusters Can Drive Polarization Reversal in a Non‐Ferroelectric Polar Film via the Proximity Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric nanoclusters create local internal fields in a normally non‐switchable polar film because of polarization mismatch at their interfaces. That field opposes polarization in the regions with larger polarization and reinforces polarization in the regions with smaller polarization.

On the Constant Partition Dimension of Some Generalized Families of Toeplitz Graph

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
The use of graph theory is prevalent in the field of network design, whereby it finds utility in several domains such as the development of integrated circuits, communication networks, and transportation systems. The comprehension of partition dimensions

Development of Multifunctional Hierarchically Restructured Antibacterial Neural Interfacing Electrodes via Plasma‐Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition of Zinc Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Next‐generation implantable neural‐interfacing devices are increasingly constrained by the coupled demands of electrode miniaturization, electrochemical performance, and implantation infection risk. Femtosecond laser–based hierarchical surface restructuring (HSR) technology has emerged as a scalable, manufacturing‐compatible platform for ...
