2D Co‐Mo‐Hydroxide‐Based Multifunctional Material for the Development of H2‐Based Clean Energy Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
2D α‐Co(OH)2 interleaved with Mo species displays an appealing dual functionality for the production and use of green hydrogen.Mo incorporation greatly benefits the electrochemical behaviour in Oxygen Evolution Reaction for H2 production, while the magnetocaloric response at liquid H2 temperature paves the way for alternative cryogenic refrigerants ...

Extended G-vertex colored partition algebras as centralizer algebras of symmetric groups

open access: yes, 2005
The Partition algebras Pk(x) have been defined in [M1] and [Jo]. We introduce a new class of algebras for every group G called “Extended G-Vertex Colored Partition Algebras," denoted by Pbk(x,G), which contain partition algebras Pk(x), as subalgebras.

Puzzling and apuzzling graphs

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, 2016
Let G be a graph with chromatic number χ(G) and consider a partition P of G into connected subgraphs. P is a puzzle on G if there is a unique vertex coloring of G using 1, 2, …, χ(G) such that the sums of the numbers assigned to the partition pieces are ...

Vertex Partitions of Hypercubes into Symmetric Snakes

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics, 2002
Abstract In his paper (Combinatorica 14 (4) (1994), 491-496) Wojciechowski constructed a snake S, i.e. an induces cycle, in the n-dimensional hypercube Qn such that for some subgroup G of the automorphism group of Qn, of order at most 16, the G-translates of S partition the vertex set of Qn.

Vertex partitioning of a class of digraphs [PDF]

open access: yesMathématiques et sciences humaines, 2002
A vertex subset V' of a digraph is a pseudo sink set if its out-degree is low. The research of a pseudo sink set in a digraph is a high complexity combinatory problem. We show, for a particular family of digraphs, that a clustering of the vertex set fitted with a well chosen metric allows to reveal pseudo sink sets by their aggregation in a first ...

Dominator semi strong color partition in graphs

open access: yes, 2022
Let G =(V,E) be a simple graph. A subset S is said to be Semi-Strong if for every vertex v in V, |N(v)∩S|≤1, or no two vertices of S have the same neighbour in V, that is, no two vertices of S are joined by a path of length two in V.

Spin‐Split Edge States in Metal‐Supported Graphene Nanoislands Obtained by CVD

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining STM measurements and ab‐initio calculations, we show that zig‐zag edges in graphene nanoislands grown on Ni(111) by CVD retrieve their spin‐polarized edge states after intercalation of a few monolayers of Au. ABSTRACT Spin‐split states localized on zigzag edges have been predicted for different free‐standing graphene nanostructures.

One-Dimensional Vertex Models Associated with a Class of Yangian Invariant Haldane-Shastry Like Spin Chains

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2010
We define a class of Y(sl_{(m|n)}) Yangian invariant Haldane-Shastry (HS) like spin chains, by assuming that their partition functions can be written in a particular form in terms of the super Schur polynomials.

5d/6d DE instantons from trivalent gluing of web diagrams

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We propose a new prescription for computing the Nekrasov partition functions of five-dimensional theories with eight supercharges realized by gauging non-perturbative flavor symmetries of three five-dimensional superconformal field theories.

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.
