HitSim: An Efficient Algorithm for Single-Source and Top-k SimRank Computation
SimRank is a widely used metric for evaluating vertex similarity based on graph topology, with diverse applications such as large-scale graph mining and natural language processing. The objective of the single-source and top-k SimRank query problem is to

Mild Focal Cooling Decouples Dendrites to Reconfigure Cortical Output
Mild cooling of the cortical surface selectively modulates apical dendritic excitability, plasticity, and somato‐dendritic coupling, while uncoupling these effects from basal dendrites, and reshapes apical‐driven responses in barrel cortex during whisker touch.

VERTEX PARTITIONS OF CHORDAL GRAPHS
. A k-tree is a chordal graph with no (k + 2)-clique. An ℓ-treepartition of a graph G is a vertex partition of G into ‘bags’, such that con-tracting each bag to a single vertex gives an ℓ-tree (after deleting loops and replacing parallel edges by a ...

Quasi-randomness and algorithmic regularity for graphs with general degree distributions [PDF]
We deal with two intimately related subjects: quasi-randomness and regular partitions. The purpose of the concept of quasi-randomness is to express how much a given graph “resembles” a random one.

Mapping the “Supply–Demand–Flow” of Ecosystem Services for Ecosystem Management in China
This study develops a “supply–demand–flow” framework clarifies how ecosystem services move between regions by distinguishing potential and actual supply and demand. Using integrated biophysical–socioeconomic modeling, nine services in China were mapped.

The three-dimensional art gallery problem and its solutions
This thesis addressed the three-dimensional Art Gallery Problem (3D-AGP), a version of the art gallery problem, which aims to determine the number of guards required to cover the interior of a pseudo-polyhedron as well as the placement of these guards ...

Under colitis, Gsdmd mediates the release of IL‐33 from the epithelium of pregnant mice. IL‐33 can cross the placenta and enhance the proliferative capacity of neural stem cells, ultimately resulting in behavioral deficits in the offspring. Excessive pyroptosis in the colonic epithelium also triggers the translocation of LPS, which in turn increases ...

Counting list matrix partitions of graphs
Given a symmetric D × D matrix M over {0, 1, ∗}, a list M-partition of a graph G is a partition of the vertices of G into D parts which are associated with the rows of M. The part of each vertex is chosen from a given list in such a way that no edge of G

All proper colorings of every colorable BSTS(15) [PDF]
A Steiner System, denoted S(t,k,v), is a vertex set X containing v vertices, and a collection of subsets of X of size k, called blocks, such that every t vertices from X are in exactly one of the blocks. A Steiner Triple System, or STS, is a special case

We establish a tBid‐mediated cell ablation system in axolotls, achieve rapid and efficient ablation of multiple cell types, including muscle stem cell, spinal cord cell, and connective tissue (CT) cells. We investigate the role of CT using tBid‐mediated CT ablation and identify its essential role for limb development and regeneration.
