Improving the accuracy of vertical angle observations

Central South University, 1996
The influences of instrumental errors, measurement errors, and the fluctuation of refraction angles, etc., on the observation accuracy of vertical angles are analysed. A new target used to observe the vertical angle was designed. Some measures are suggested to reduce the errors in observing vertical angles. They are proved to be effective by experiments.

Accuracy of Intraoral Vertical Ramus Osteotomy With a Stereolithographic Template

Annals of Plastic Surgery, 2011
Various modifications have been described to improve the accuracy in intraoral vertical ramus osteotomy (IVRO), but there was not a measurable facility to determine the osteotomy line. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of the computer tomography (CT)-based osteotomy template on cadaver mandibles and to assess the outcome after IVRO

Accuracy of Digital Subtraction Radiography in the Detection of Vertical Root Fractures

Journal of Endodontics, 2016
The objective of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of digital subtraction radiography in the diagnosis of vertical root fractures (VRFs).Twenty decoronated uniradicular human teeth were placed in the alveoli of a dry mandible and radiographed twice, first without (unfilled roots) and then with (filled roots) a gutta-percha cone placed into the ...
