Component wear in vertical spindle mills grinding coal
International Journal of Mineral Processing, 1996Abstract This paper reports on the contribution of a number of material coal properties and machine operating parameters to the wear of vertical spindle mill components. This assists in the evaluation of mills and coals for particular duties and enables prediction of the likely changes in maintenance regime if these variables are changed.

Analysis of Grinding Roller Stress Distribution of Vertical Roller Mill
Advanced Materials Research, 2014The quality of powder of non-metal materials directly relates to the force exerted on grinding roller, while the force on grinding roller relates to the thickness of the material layer. The uneven pressure distribution between the roller and material layer is caused by the drum-shaped characteristics of vertical mill grinding roller. This paper studies

1976
This paper shows that the grinding process on conventional vertical surface grinding machines may be improved in intensity, economically, by a novel co-ordination of the setting quantities such as cutting depth and feed rate. As a prerequisite, the wear mechanism and the stage of self-sharpening under the given conditions must be known. Peripheral face

Fine grinding optimisation in vertical stirred mills
As mined ores are becoming finer grained, the use of stirred milling is increasing rapidly within the minerals industry. Due to the large power requirements for such fine grinding, optimal grinding efficiency is extremely important. There are a large number of parameters that can effect grinding, and the correct combination is required to maximise ...openaire +2 more sources
