Entanglement classification via neural network quantum states
The task of classifying the entanglement properties of a multipartite quantum state poses a remarkable challenge due to the exponentially increasing number of ways in which quantum systems can share quantum correlations.

The Classification of Surfaces via Normal Curves
AbstractWe present a simple proof of the surface classification theorem using normal curves. This proof is analogous to Kneser’s and Milnor’s proof of the existence and uniqueness of the prime decomposition of 3-manifolds. In particular, we do not need any invariants from algebraic topology to distinguish surfaces.

ABSTRACT Background Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing

ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Hyperspectral colon tissue cell classification [PDF]
A novel algorithm to discriminate between normal and malignant tissue cells of the human colon is presented. The microscopic level images of human colon tissue cells were acquired using hyperspectral imaging technology at contiguous wavelength intervals ...

Lightweight Metagenomic Classification via eBWT [PDF]
The development of Next Generation Sequencing has had a major impact on the study of genetic sequences, and in particular, on the advancement of metagenomics, whose aim is to identify the microorganisms that are present in a sample collected directly from the environment.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Polarimetric SAR Data Classification via Reinforcement Learning
Inspired by human’s learning characteristic that knowledge is gradually learned little by little, a Spatial-Polarimetric Reinforcement Learning (SPRL) approach is proposed for Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) data classification ...
