Influence of hydrogel on germination of lettuce and onion seed at different moisture levels
The influence of Agrisorb (water solution 1, 3, 5 g/l) on lettuce and onion seed germination was tested in different moisture conditions (30 ml and 15 ml of water in germination box).

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Apple rootstock trials at Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW, Poland
valuation of 22 dwarfing and semi-dwarfing apple rootstocks for several scion cultivars was conducted on fertile soil in the years 1995-2010. It was found that most of the new rootstocks performed similarly to M.9 EMLA with respect to vigour, yield ...

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Barley seed sensitivity to water stress at germination stage
Barley seed sensitivity to water and anoxia was tested. Standard germination, mean time of germination (MTG), germination in sand wetted by water to 100% water capacity (anoxia) or by hydrogen peroxide (wet conditions without anoxia), germination in 0.75%

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
