Assessing Renewable Energy Supply for Brazilian Ethanol‐to‐Jet Plants
ABSTRACT Ethanol is the leading global biofuel, but it faces the challenge of diversifying its use into hard‐to‐electrify sectors such as aviation. The Ethanol‐to‐Jet (EtJ) process, which converts ethanol into hydrocarbons for sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), is forecast to be a key SAF pathway for scaling up soon.

ABSTRACT Exogenous organic materials (EOMs) are increasingly used as substitutes for mineral fertilizers and as tools to restore soil health within a circular bioeconomy context. However, the great diversity of EOMs in terms of origin, composition, chemical properties, and contaminant concentrations challenges their safe and efficient use in ...

Fungal proteins are emerging ingredients having high potential for use in aquafeeds, yet digestibility and practical inclusion limits remain unclear for marine shrimp. This study evaluated a filamentous fungus (Paecilomyces variotii [PV]) produced from corn ethanol thin stillage as a replacement for salmon by‐product meal (SLM) and poultry by‐product ...
