Vio

Proceedings of the SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2007
Today many workers spend too much of their time translating their co-workers' requests into structures that information systems can understand. This paper presents the novel interaction design and evaluation of VIO, an agent that helps workers trans late request. VIO monitors requests and makes suggestions to speed up the translation.

Si$$ViO: A Trigger for $$-Particles

2009
The production of bound kaon-nucleon-states (kaonic-cluster) in the reaction $p+p\to [ppK^{-}] + K^{+}$ should be investigated in a dedicated measurement at the FOPI detector system at the SIS-accelerator of GSI, by looking for the decay $ppK^{-} \to p + \to p + p + ^{-}$.

Si$$ViO: A Trigger for $$-Hyperons

2013
As online trigger for events containing $ $ hyperons in p+p collisions at $\mathrm{3.1\,GeV}$ a silicon-based device has been designed and built. This system has been integrated close to the target region within the FOPI spectrometer at GSI and was also employed as a tracking device to improve the vertex reconstruction of secondary decays.
