Nuclear and hadron matter equation of state within the induced surface tension approach
We present a novel equation of state which is based on the virial expansion for the multicomponent mixtures with hard core repulsion. The suggested equation of state explicitly contains the surface tension which is induced by particle interaction.

Stability of KdV Solitons on the Half‐Line: A Study for Nonhomogeneous Boundary Conditions
ABSTRACT We study the orbital stability and asymptotic stability problems for KdV solitons on the right half‐line for nonhomogeneous boundary conditions in the energy space H1(R+)$H^1(\mathbb {R}^+)$. This paper improves the results of Cavalcante and Muñoz [Revista Matemática Iberoamericana 35, no. 6 (2019); and SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis 55,

Stochastic and Semi-Classical Approaches to the Quantum Virial Expansion
Many-body quantum systems provide an interesting playground for experimentalists and theorists alike. In particular, ultracold atomic gases provide not only a realm of study for which experiments have a high degree of control but also provides theorists ...

First-order virial expansion of short-time diffusion and sedimentation coefficients of permeable particles suspensions [PDF]
For suspensions of permeable particles, the short-time translational and rotational self-diffusion coefficients, and collective diffusion and sedimentation coefficients are evaluated theoretically.

Repulsive baryonic interactions and lattice QCD observables at imaginary chemical potential
The first principle lattice QCD methods allow to calculate the thermodynamic observables at finite temperature and imaginary chemical potential. These can be compared to the predictions of various phenomenological models.

Abstract SiO2 is a fundamental component of planetary interiors, yet its high‐pressure melting and phase relations remain uncertain. We develop a machine learning potential with first‐principles accuracy and perform large‐scale two‐phase coexistence simulations to determine the melting curves of stishovite, post‐stishovite, and seifertite up to 160 GPa

Elastic constants of hard thin platelets by Monte Carlo simulation and virial expansion
In this paper we present an investigation into the calculation of the Frank elastic constants of hard platelets via molecular simulation and virial expansion beyond second order. Monte Carlo simulations were carried out and director fluctuations measured

Thermodynamics of rotating quantum matter in the virial expansion
We characterize the high-temperature thermodynamics of rotating bosons and fermions in two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) isotropic harmonic trapping potentials.

Cluster virial expansion for the equation of state of partially ionized hydrogen plasma [PDF]
The contribution of electron-atom interaction to the equation of state for partially ionized hydrogen plasma is studied using the cluster-virial expansion.

Atmospheric climate science lacks the capacity to integrate thermodynamics with the gravitational potential of air in a classical quantum theory. To what extent can we identify Carnot’s ideal heat engine cycle in reversible isothermal and isentropic ...
