Rational Fine‐Tuning of MOF Pore Metrics: Enhanced SO2 Capture and Sensing with Optimal Multi‐Site Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 43, 29 May 2026.
A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Second-order virial expansion for an atomic gas in a harmonic waveguide

open access: yes, 2016
International audienceThe virial expansion for cold two-component Fermi and Bose atomic gases is considered in the presence of a waveguide and in the vicinity of a Feshbach resonance.

Study on Natural Gas Decarbonization Process Based on CO2 Desublimation Characteristics

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 21, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
ABSTRACT Natural gas decarbonization is a crucial processing step. In this study, the snow separation technology for removal of carbon dioxide in natural gas based on CO2 desublimation characteristics was introduced. The phase equilibrium calculation of CH4‐CO2 and N2‐CO2 system was carried out by using cubic equations of states (EOSs), and identified ...

Molecular Mimicry Between Epstein‐Barr Virus and Human Herpesvirus‐6 Proteins and Central Nervous System Proteins: Implications for T and B Cell Immunogenicity in an In Silico Study

open access: yesImmunity, Inflammation and Disease, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The Epstein‐Barr virus (EBV) and human herpesvirus 6 (HHV‐6) are frequently linked to neuropsychiatric illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, depression, and chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis. These viruses may induce autoimmune reactions by molecular mimicry, leading to damage to self‐epitopes in the central nervous

Photodynamics of clusters of the major components of the atmosphere

open access: yesInternational Journal of Photoenergy, 2004
Weakly interacting molecules leading to collisional complexes, and to either stable or metastable dimers, potentially play an important role in molecular and surface physics, in astrophysics, in atmospheric photochemistry and physics, and climate ...

Elastic constants of hard thick platelets by Monte Carlo simulation and virial expansion

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper we present an investigation into the calculation of the Frank elastic constants of hard plate-like particles via molecular simulation and virial expansion beyond second order.

Cluster and Virial Expansions for the Multi-species Tonks Gas [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Physics, 2015
We consider a mixture of non-overlapping rods of different lengths $\ell_k$ moving in $\mathbb{R}$ or $\mathbb{Z}$. Our main result are necessary and sufficient convergence criteria for the expansion of the pressure in terms of the activities $z_k$ and the densities $ρ_k$.

Virial expansion of the positron and positronium decay rate in a dilute gas: The linear contribution

open access: yes, 1996
A systematic theory of the lifetimes of positrons or positronium atoms in a low-density gas is lacking. This paper describes our recent efforts to fill this void.
