circNR3C2 promotes chondrogenic differentiation and cartilage repair of human adipose‐derived stem cells via the hsa‐miR‐647/SOX9 pathway

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
The hypothesis diagram illustrates the function and mechanism of circNR3C2: circNR3C2 overexpression can up‐regulate COL2, Aggrecan and SOX9 expression, and regulate chondrogenic differentiation of hADSCs by targeting hsa‐miR‐647. Abstract Background Human adipose‐derived stem cells (hADSCs) are seed cells with application prospects in cartilage repair.

Multimorbidity and animal models

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Multimorbidity, defined as the coexistence of ≥2 chronic conditions, is associated with aging, genetics, and environmental factors. Animal models in multimorbidity research span three tiers: simple organisms for initial screening → rodents for mechanistic analysis → large mammals for clinical prediction.

Assessing Angiogenic Properties In Vitro or In Ovo of Pre‐Crosslinked Alginate‐Dialdehyde‐Gelatin Hydrogels Incorporating Boron‐Doped Mesoporous Bioactive Glass Particles

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This study examines the influence of boron‐doped mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (MBGN) blended in cast and 3D‐printed pre‐crosslinked alginate‐dialdehyde‐gelatin (ADA‐GEL). Addition of 0.5% and 1% MBGN did not negatively affect the viability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), or the sprouting of HUVEC spheroids.
