New Zealand Journal of Agricultural Research, 1966Abstract A disease causing colour break and distortion of flowers has been observed in the rose variety Queen Elizabeth and a similar condition has been reported in Super Star. Transmission of these symptoms from affected to unaffected Queen Elizabeth bushes indicates that the disease is caused by a virus.
