The variation of the viscosity of gelatin sols with temperature
Journal of Applied Chemistry, 1953AbstractThe variation of the viscosity with temperature has been studied on sols of an isoelectric ossein gelatin, and representation of this variation has been found possible by means of an equation of the type ν = AeK/T.The term A has been shown to be a function of the percentage (weight) concentration of gelatin in the sol.A working hypothesis has ...

Temperature variation of viscosity and the structure of liquids
Transactions of the Faraday Society, 1966The ratio a of the energy of activation of viscous flow to the energy of vaporization at the same temperature is determined for a large number of liquids of diverse types. For all but a relatively small number of molecules approching most closely to spherical shape, the ratio is found to be sensibly constant for non-associated liquids, and is ...

IN-VITRO VARIATION OF VISCOSITY OF BODY FAT DURING COOLING
The Lancet, 1967Abstract The viscosity of subcutaneous body fat in vitro increased with cooling. If hypothermia is used in the treatment of patients with cerebral fat-embolism, the viscosity of the bone-marrow fat should also be increased. This may be valuable in preventing further embolism from the fracture site and in preventing fat already in the lung capillaries ...

Reduction of Variation in Mooney Viscosity of Polybutadiene Rubber
2012Poly Butadiene Rubber (PBR) is used in rubber processing industries. Mooney viscosity is an important quality parameter of PBR. The design range of Mooney viscosity of the product from last reactor outlet is in the range of 37-47. The existing variation of Mooney viscosity is between 37 and 43 for 92% of the product.
