Shaping Matter with Acoustic Waves: From Particles to Functional Structures
Acoustic‐directed assembly is reviewed as a materials‐oriented strategy for organizing particles, polymers, metals, and biological systems into functional structures. The review distinguishes reversible manipulation from permanent structure formation through medium fixation, particle fixation, and in situ material generation, highlighting routes toward

Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

The stochastic vortex simulation of an unsteady viscous flow in a multiconnected domain [PDF]
Summary: Vortex methods applied to flows in multiconnected domains are studied. The objective is to construct a vortex method which eliminates the possibility of non-physical solutions in the pressure fields calculated a posteriori from the velocity and vorticity fields. Application is made to the case of an annular domain.

Fast relaxation of a viscous vortex in an external flow
Abstract We study the evolution of a concentrated vortex advected by a smooth, divergence-free velocity field in two space dimensions. In the idealised situation where the initial vorticity is a Dirac mass, we compute an approximation of the solution which accurately describes, in the regime of high Reynolds numbers, the motion of the

Gellan gum fluid gel (FG) enables controlled ocular delivery of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC)‐derived extracellular vesicles (EV). Its shear‐thinning, solid‐liquid‐solid rheology ensures prolonged ocular retention. Sustained MSC‐EV release (∼18% in 6 hrs) supports effective EV ocular delivery.

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...
