The present study aims to develop a mathematical model for the entire process of binocular vision and the tracking of a moving object using binocular vision. All vertebrates have two eyes. They are thus able to observe a wider panorama than would be the case if they had only one. Binocular vision also offers a second advantage, namely depth perception.
