A visual census of the coastal fish assemblage at Kostrena (the Kvarner area, Croatia)

The modified stationary visual census technikque (point method of circular point method) was used to provide a preliminary description of fish assemblages at the locality of Kostrena (the Kvarner area, Croatia). Connecting tradition and technology: The digitization of the ethnobotanical collection at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden

The digitization of RBetno (JBRJ) represents a step forward for biodiversity conservation in Brazil. Aligned with the Kunming‐Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (Target 2, 2020–2030), this project documents the use of plants, including traditional knowledge and vernacular names, with a focus on the Atlantic Forest and Amazon.

Land cover change that leads to increased nutrient and sediment runoff is an important driver of change in coral reef ecosystems. From snapshots to continuous estimates: Augmenting citizen science with computer vision for fish monitoring

This study presents an end‐to‐end computer‐vision pipeline for monitoring fish migration using underwater video. We integrate field camera deployment, annotation, model training and automated in‐season counting to generate continuous, high‐resolution data on river herring spawning migration.

Semi‐automated seal detection on the Western Antarctic Peninsula: an unsupervised machine learning approach for detecting ice seals in aerial survey data
